The George Washington Center for Freedom & Understanding is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to advancing the cause of freedom throughout the world. This global Center for Freedom and Understanding is named after the first President of the United State, George Washington.

George Washington is revered as America's "First Citizen." His courageous life of service in the cause of freedom stands as one of the preeminent examples of complete dedication to the enduring values of freedom. His public and private life embodied all the noble and honorable qualities of selfless leadership needed today.
